How Elaine works
Arranging non-medical home care takes about five minutes in the Elaine Care app. You are never charged until a visit ends.
Three steps
Download the app and describe the care
Add the person receiving care, their address, and what help they need — personal care, companionship or homemaking.
Request a visit and confirm the total
Choose the date, time and length. The app shows one total for the visit before you confirm it.
See who is coming
When a verified caregiver accepts, you see their name, photo and certification. You are notified when they clock in and out, and you receive their visit note.
Who the caregivers are
Every caregiver on Elaine is identity-verified and background-checked, with the check re-run annually. Personal care is performed by caregivers holding a current Ohio STNA or CNA. You can mark a caregiver as preferred so future requests go to them first.
