Homemaking

Homemaking keeps a home clean, safe and organized so your loved one can stay comfortable in it — the light household tasks that get harder to manage alone.

What it is

Homemaking keeps a home clean, safe and organized so your loved one can stay comfortable in it — the light household tasks that get harder to manage alone.

What a visit can include

  • Light cleaning and tidying
  • Laundry and linens
  • Meal preparation and kitchen clean-up
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Help keeping the home safe and clutter-free

What it does not include

Elaine provides non-medical home care only. Caregivers do not:

  • Heavy or deep cleaning, or anything requiring specialist equipment
  • Any medical or personal-care task requiring certification

Where it is available

Homemaking is available wherever Elaine has certified supply. It is live in the Lima & Allen County area today, and turns on in each new area as caregivers come online.

Common questions

Does homemaking require a certification?

No. Homemaking does not require an STNA or CNA. Every caregiver is identity-verified and background-checked.

Is homemaking available everywhere Elaine works?

It turns on in each area as caregiver supply comes online. Check your area's page for what is live.
